Dance Performance 9-12

Students will learn a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. No prior experience is necessary- students will develop their dance technique throughout the semester. Students will work together throughout the semester to expand their creativity and gain confidence in the various dance styles. Students will work as a team, and at the end of the semester, will perform in the end of semester Timberwolves Dance show.


Dance Choreography 11 & 12

Students must be invited by Mrs. Kidd to take Dance Choreography 11 or 12. Students in this course will take part in the Dance Performance 10, 11 & 12 class, and will be a leader in the class: demonstrating new steps, helping choreograph and/or fully choreographing small group routines. Students will also work with Mrs. Kidd to choreograph the end of semester Dance show.

**Independent Directed Studies may be an available option for some students. If you are interested in an IDS Dance class, contact Mrs. Kidd.
