As the weather gets colder and more time is spent indoors, we are more likely to get sick with things like colds, flu or COVID-19 because these illnesses spread more easily in enclosed spaces.

The latest Community Bulletin from the Abbotsford School District highlights great opportunities for students and families across our community. This online resource features a wide range of community events, programs, services, and activities submitted to the district to share with our families.

In line with AP 301 - Access to Students, our Community Bulletin is dedicated to fostering connections that enrich and enhance student learning and well-being.

The Abbotsford School District and City of Abbotsford have approved a new Master Joint Use Agreement, strengthening our long-standing partnership and improving access to shared facilities and recreational opportunities across the community.  

The updated agreement provides designated times for City programs and community organizations to use specific school gymnasiums, creating greater certainty around community access. It also removes fees for items such as skate and helmet rentals during school visits, helping reduce barriers to participation for children and youth.  

Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! A new school year brings with it a renewed sense of energy and excitement across our schools. We are looking forward to welcoming our students back and supporting them as they learn, grow and take on new opportunities this year.

The fifth annual Robert Bateman Open golf tournament brought together alumni, community members, local businesses, and Abbotsford School District staff at Ledgeview Golf Course in support of the Robert Bateman Golf Academy.

Now in its fifth year, the tournament continues to grow in both participation and impact. This year's event welcomed a record 22 teams, making it the largest Bateman Open in tournament history. The event raised approximately $7,000 to support student travel opportunities, equipment purchases, and program enhancements within the Golf Academy.
